We are the Alpha Tau chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Our sorority founded on the simple belief that sorority elitism and socializing should not overshadow the real mission for progressive organizations: to address societal mores, ills, prejudices, poverty, and health concerns of the day.

Our mission is to foster the ideas of service, charity, scholarship, civil and cultural endeavors, sisterhood and finer womanhood. These ideals are reflected in the sorority's national programs for which its members and auxiliary groups provide voluntary service to staff, community outreach programs, fund scholarships, support organized charities, and promote legislation for social and civic change.​
