The Elevation of a Blu DynaZty

Alpha Tau is proud to welcome its Fall 2016 initiates! The chapter showcased its three new members on November 10th of last year collectively known as "The Elevation of a Blu DynaZty". We are thrilled to introduce these dovely ladies to the Greek world here at Emory:

Where are they Now?

A native of Brunswick, Georgia, Catherine Muse is a graduate of Emory University’s class of 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a fall 2010 Initiate of the Alpha Tau Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

Catherine attended Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies. While in graduate school she served as a Graduate Intern for the United States Department of Justice Community Relations Service (CRS). In December 2015, she completed her Master of Science in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution.

In January 2016, Catherine Muse accepted a Public Service Assistant Faculty position at the University of Georgia Archway Partnership. In her position, Catherine serves as the Archway Professional in Candler County/ Metter, GA. In this role, she serves as liaison between the community and the university as she works to connect higher education resources to locally identified issues and priorities.

LaCrystal Ware Johnson is a graduate of Emory University's class of 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and is a Spring 2011 Initiate of the Alpha Tau Chapter of Zeta Phi beta Sorority, Inc. 

After graduation, LaCrystal accepted a position at Alcon Laboratories in Johns Creek as an Analytical Chemist performing release as well as investigational testing for contact lens product and stayed with the company until September 2015.

Currently, she is the Senior Quality Operations Specialist at Immucor, Inc where she provides quality oversight for the manufacturing, packaging and laboratory operations of blood based reagents used for transplant and transfusion diagnostics.

LaCrystal married on June 6th, 2015.  She and her husband, Cory, recently welcomed their first child, Journee Ware Johnson.
